Seven Days and Six Nights of Bei Jing&Jinan trip!
We are back from the 7days&6nights of Bei Jing&Jinan trip! I will start writing from Day 1.
Day 1
On 11May08, 16students and 5 teachers meet up in school at 8.30pm. My dad fetch Brendon Ong,Kelly and Vennie to the school. Something bad happened. I fell down at the drain and my leg was badly injured. Thanks to Miss Sharifah for helping me to put on some medication. At that moment, I felt that the starting of the day was bad. We got up to the school bus at around 9plus. I can't bear to leave my family but we still have to go off. We ckeck in and get everything done first. The flight was delayed to 1.50am, 12May08. We have a few hours of free time. We went to this small cafe to slack and eat supper. I ate Sushi with Brendon Ong(: After hours, we went back to the gather point and we went off. Six hours of flight was really tiring. Thanks Darren for asking me not to be afraid, haha. We reached Bei Jing airport at morning 8.15am. We had maconald's for our breakfast. After that, we started our tour of the day. Our first place was Forbidden City. It's a very beautiful palace. We took about three hours to go around the palace and learn many about the Chinese Cultural. We had our lunch and went off to a Shopping mall. I can say, it's a very terrible place for us to shop. The owner of the shop can really pull your shirt or whatsoever just to want you buy something from them. Although, I still get something for my mother and cousins. Also, bought a same shirt with Kelly. That was the worst part of the day, serious. We went off to visit the Bei Jing Olympic National Stadium and National Aquatics. We are not able to go in and take a look. All we can do is take some pictures and go off. Had our dinner and check in hotel. Everybody was super tired. I'm staying with Miss Sharifah. I like the hotel room. I had a good sleep.
Day 2
We woke up early in the morning and had our breakfast. We went off to 'The Great Wall Of China' We took something like a cable car and reached half of the mountian. We started to climb the stairs. There are many slope. I had a hard time because of my injured leg. I really want to thanks Miss Sharifah and others for helping me all the way. The place was really beautiful. We took hours to reached the point. Went off to had our lunch. Visited Yi He Garden. We spent hours over there. Had our dinner and Check-in hotel.
Day 3
Woke up early in the morning and had our breakfast. Went off to Bei Jing airport. We are leaving to Jinan. We reached there in the afternoon. I'm glad that we have a nice,friendly and cute tour guide. We can really joke with her and she is super cute! Had our lunch and visited Bao Tu Spring. Spent hours over there learning more about Chinese Cultural. The place was really beautiful, the flowers and everything.. After hours, went to this Bookshop shopping. The bookshop are super big. You can really spent hours over there searching for the books that you like/want. I bought a Jay Chou(Kung Fu Dunk) book for my sister. We are sitting outside of the bookshop waiting for the others. People walking pass thought that we are some mad people sitting over there for so long. Like,whatever. After hours, We went to another Shopping Mall. We went to a supermarket or something?ya. Saw a Olympic shop that selling at a cheaper price. Bought some stuffs for family. Had our dinner and Check-in hotel. After bathing, everyone get together at Brendon's room. We had a great time sharing titbits and chatting together.
Day 4
Had our breakfast and went off to Mt Tai Shan. Everyone are given a KFC Burger and a Chocolate Bar. Had some warm up. We started the climbing at 11am. After half an hour, I was with Iszwan. He don't seem to be tired at all, haha. After a hour, Joanne and Yicheng catch up with us. The four of us together with Ng Ng complete our half point in 1hour40minutes(around that) Everybody was tired. We rest for about 20minutes. Waited for everybody to come. We started our climbing again at 1pm. I was with Joanne. Joanne, thanks for encouage me all the way. You did a great job, we complete the whole journey in 3hours45minutes. We complete at 2.45pm. We are really happy and proud of one another. Everybody did a great job! We only have our lunch after everything. We didn't expect to finish the climbing so fast. Mr Koa expect it to be finish by 6pm. But, we complete everything just in 3hours45minutes! 6666steps, here we are! We decided to Check-in hotel and take a rest first. Putra same room! We had a great time playing water! Bread was our dinner. But after that, we are given Fried rice. There are only cold water to bath. Unless you want to wait until 8pm. We are tired so we decided to bath and have our sleep at 8.30pm.
Day 5
Morning call at 4am. Because, we are watching Sun-rise. The weather was 5degree! Everyone are waiting for the Sun-rise. But i think is because of the raining and also we are late so sadly, we are not able to see the sun-rise. We went back to hotel and take a rest first. Had our breakfast and went to the very top of the Mt Tai Shan and had our photo taking. After a hour, we took a Cable Car down to the Mountain. Our bus came and fetch us. Next, we visited the Qufu and Confucious Hometown. Same thing, we spent hours over there learning many Chinese Cultural. Had our lunch and Shopping again. Had dinner than Check-in hotel.
Day 6
Woke up early in the morning and had our breakfast. We are going for Shooting at Jinan! 4hours of long journey, sit on bus until super tired. Had our lunch and Shooting, Here we come! I swear, it's super cool. Something happened which make me got no mood to play. But i still play and enjoyed myself very much. I bet everyone does. We got three different section to try out. The best part was when there will be a small little thing fly out from some places and you have to aim for the little thing and 'BANG!' SUPER COOL AND EXCITING! The gun are very heavy. After two times of try out, you can really feel the pain but it's really fun. I have a blue black on my shoulder now. This was the first time in my life holding on to a real big and heavy gun! After everything, We visited the zoo! This was my first time that i see nobody in a zoo. I guess is because, there are only bus bringing you around the zoo. It's different from Singapore. There will be a bus bringing you around the zoo and see many animals. But somehow, we didn't really get to see many animals. But, there was this part when we are given food to feed the tiger and others. The distance between us are super near. Everyone was feeling exciting. We had a great time! After hours, we had our dinner. Number games after that, super fun. Wacth some ghost movie with Miss Sharifah at night. Guess what, I fall asleep half way. haha!
Day 7
Time pass so fast. It's the last day of the trip. Had our breakfast and last Shopping. It's something like City hall or something. But there are not much things you can buy. Had lunch at Maconald's! We waited for the teachers like hours. They went to do some stuffs which they don't want to let us know. Watch some movie on the bus. Finally, they are back! We don't have enough time to visit the Yellow River. Went off to Jinan airport. I can't bear to leave. I'm going to miss our cute tour guide very much. Took some pictures and check-in. Flight was delay again. I had a great time playing with putra, haha. Reached Bei Jing at around 6.30plus. We have some free time so walk around the airport. Check-in at 8.30pm. Had dinner at Pizza Hut with a total of 9people! Best meal in China, haha. Our flight was at 11.30pm. 6hours again. Reached Singapore on the 19may08, around 6am+ This trip have come to the end.ReflectionSomehow, I miss Beijing&Shan Dong now. I miss our cute tour guide. In this 7days of trip, I have really learnt many things. I would like to thanks Ms Sharifah for helping me all along. Mr koh,Mr Ng,Mdm Ter&Mdm Lucy for taking care of us for this 7days6nights of trip. I hope each and every of you did enjoyed this trip very much. Because of my injured legs, I had a hard time walking for the first two days. But thanks to you all, really. We are able to overcome difficulties during the Mount Tai Shan,Great Wall Of China and many more. This 6666steps are really not easy. But we still make it and I believe we are proud of one another! At first, we really don't get used to the food over there. But after a few days, we slowly get used to the food,toilet and everything over there. We also learnt how to get used to their way of life everyday. The weather was totally different compare to Singapore. I still rememered during the Mount Tai Shan hotel, the weather was only 5degree in the morning! We have no hot water to bath and nobody care already as we are really tired. Overall, the five hotels that we stayed are really comfortable. Every night, going eachother's room or knock on eachother doors for a million times and run away, haha. The traffic jam over there are really terrible. You will have a hard time crossing the road over there. In a hour, you can hear million times of 'horn' sound! Serious. We at least sit in a bus for 1hour to reach every single places. The longest was 4hours plus? yes. everybody will be sleeping or watching the tv. Thanks to brendon ong's powerful voice! (videos below) For the last day of our dinner, we are enjoying our last meal over there and we played number games too. Everyone are trying to 'sabo' Mr Koa, he end up eating quite alot of left over food. Haha! When we are ready to check in to Jinan airport, we really can't bear to leave the pretty places and our pretty tour guide. For the first day when I reached Bei Jing, I was hoping that we will come back to Singapore soon. But when the last day come, I really hope that we can stay for a longer time to enjoy more! All the Chinese Cultural that we have learnt from our tour guide are really meaningful. The Shooting gallery is the best part of the day. We might never get a chance to hold on to a real gun in our life. But this time, we are given a chance to do so. The feeling was scary,great and whatsoever. But it's really great! Mount Tai Shan and Great Wall Of China are really a beautiful place to visit. Maybe this is the reasons why there are so many tourist like to visit those places. We learn how to work together and go as a team. When difficulties come, we overcome and encourage one another. We have go through so much together in this trip. I hope everyone learn many things from this trip and have really enjoy yourself very much. Although we have to wake up early every morning, although we have to get used to everything over there like toilet and stuffs.. But well, This is something we all have to learn. Thanks for making this trip a great and memories for every one of us. If there will be a chance to go again, I hope we will go together. Pain and tears is what they are suffering now. They are really brave. All the small little kids,teenage,parents and many more. The earthquake are just on that day when we reached Beijing. We didn't know there was a earthquake at Sichuan(there's distance between Beijing and Sichuan) Until we are having our dinner and brendon ong was telling us but we still don't believe yet. (as you know, he always joke with us and stuffs. Our driver did feel the earthquake.) Until we check in hotels and Mr koa want all of us to make a call back to our home and inform our family that we are alright. Until the very next day when Ms Sharifah turn on the tv and we saw the news and everything. This is when i know, this earthquake was not a small one. It takes away thousands of life,why. I ask myself, what if the earthquake happen in Beijing on that day but not Sichuan. What will happen now. Every night, looking at all the news really makes me upset. I have been watching news and everything to find out more. All the pictures and story.. I seriously drop down my tears. I hope, everything will be over soon for them.
